Regular season schedule finally published. Which team will be the most benefit?

The calendar announced for the rest of the 2020 MLS season has left many interesting points to review: The localities of the Canadian teams, the derbys, when will Decision Day and who would be classified for the defining playoff for now to define the champion of the MLS 2020. The date of the MLS Cup was also announced.

The first announced point will be the home of the Canadian teams for the remainder of the season. Montreal Impact, which had been playing its home games at Red Bull Arena, will continue to play home there in New York. From the Eastern Conference, the top ten will qualify for the next round, while from the West will be the best eight. With five dates to go until the end of the regular season, there is still no team qualified for the next round.

According to the announced calendar, the most important matches will be several. The first will be the Florida derby between Inter Miami and Orlando City on October 24. The teams will meet for the fourth time in the season where Inter Miami won one and Orlando City the remaining two. In addition, the Los Angeles derby will be played for the fourth time on October 25 where Los Angeles FC humiliated the Galaxy 6-2 but then lost the remaining two. The rest of the important games will be: Orlando City vs Atlanta United (October 28), Portland Timbers vs Los Angeles Galaxy (October 28), Dallas FC vs Houston Dynamo (October 31) and Columbus Crew vs Philadelphia Union (November 1 ).
