The 20 year-old midfielder Paxton Pomycal would have received terrible news. An injury on his hip/core area only gave him headaches in the last months. It seems that the young FC Dallas' soccer player would go to have surgery to fix the problem. As a consequence, he would lose the rest of 2020's season. This decision would take him away from AC Milan's plan which had put its eyes on him.

Pomykal signed for FC Dallas as the 15th Homegrown on September 8, 2016. He made his professional debut on March 1, in a CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal match against Arabe Unido in 2017. The following year he appeared in six MLS games (one start) and one U.S. Open Cup game. In 2019 he took a leap in quality. He was selected as the Commissioner’s Pick for the 2019 MLS All-Star Game on July 31 against Atlético Madrid. And also, made the MLS Team of the Week on seven occasions.

With a promising future, AC Milan, one of the biggest soccer clubs in the world, started to probe him. This year contacts remained and different sources talked about a possible offer. But, with his injury and surgery decision, it all seems that would need to wait. Pomykal, if he finally decide that, would lose the rest of the season.
