One victory in five games was enough to turn on the alarms for Nashivlle SC. The MLS is becoming tougher and hierarchy is needed to compete in a higher level. In that way, Jhonder Cadiz, a Venezuelan striker is the new desire of Gary Smith to incorporate to his squad.

After the defeat against Atlanta United, critics start to emerge. Defensive play is not giving Nashville the results they were expecting. However, Smith explained: "I think sometimes you can be misguided in what teams are actually about. There’s a difference between an organized team versus a defense-minded team."

As a consequence, Cadiz would give that fresh air on the attack front that Nashville fans are expecting to watch. The 25-year-old Venezuelan is property of Benfica and has three caps with the national team. Lately, he has played for French club Dijon where he scored two goals in 17 appareances.
