Atlético de Madrid is having a great moment so far this season, that finds them in the first position in LaLiga with 38 points earned after 15 games played. They are also qualified to the Round of 16 of Champions League, a competition in which they will be facing Chelsea (February 2 and March 17).

Much to do with that has Luis Suárez, the Uruguayan striker that scored nine goals and gave two assists on 12 LaLiga games played. Diego Simeone has deposited his faith on the attacker after his departure from FC Barcelona, where he was axed by ex-president Josep María Bartomeu and head coach Ronald Koeman.

But after all of what he gave to Atlético de Madrid, the Spanish side seems not to be happy with him, as they have requested the signing of a new no. 9. Simeone thought that the departure of Diego Costa made the necessity of another signing and that was when he asked for Moussa Dembélé.

The French forward is 24 years old and plays for Olympique Lyon since August 2018, when they signed him for $25 million from Celtic FC. With an actual reported value of $30 million, Simeone himself recognized that the negotiations are already very advanced and his destiny would be in Spain fighting for a place against Suárez.
