Finally, Luis Suárez will once again play alongside his great friend Leo Messi, since the signing of the 36-year-old Uruguayan striker for Inter Miami will be announced imminently.

It's been a month since Luis Suárez, after his time at Gremio, reached a verbal agreement to sign for Inter Miami. The former Barcelona player will sign for one year, with the option to extend the contract for one more season.

Luis Suárez will thus play again, as in Barcelona, alongside Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, with whom he was a teammate on the Barça team between 2014 and 2020, when he left for Atlético (2020-22). At the same time, the 138-time international for Uruguay (68 goals scored for the sky blue) landed in Barcelona from Liverpool.

At the end of his time at Gremio, Suárez revealed that he is going through an ordeal due to his physical problems: he suffers from osteoarthritis in his knee and to play he takes three pills the day before each game and hours before he injects himself. The attacker stated: "My son asks me to play with him and I can't." But, after reflecting, the ex-Azulgrana decided to continue playing.

The path of Luis Suarez

These have been the clubs in which Luis Suárez has played: Nacional de Montevideo (2005-06), Groningen (2006-07), Ajax (2007-2011), Liverpool (2011-2014), Barcelona (2014-2020), Atlético (2020-22), again Nacional (2022-23) and Gremio (2023).
