Lorenzo Insigne's debut with Toronto FC of Major League Soccer is getting closer. The Italian player decided to finish his cycle with Napoli to have a new challenge in North American soccer and that is why he chose Toronto FC.

Fans are eager for Insigne's debut with Toronto, but the Italian star will have quite a challenge with Toronto FC.

This challenge is to take a team to the top that doesn't happen at all at a good time. Toronto FC has been a leading club in MLS, participating on several occasions in tournaments such as the Concacaf Champions League.

Toronto FC is in crisis

Their present now is bad and they don't have a good level. In the current season they are penultimate in the Eastern Conference with 18 units. They have won five games, drawn three and lost 10 games.

Lorenzo Insigne has to lift this team and give it prominence with his experience. He will now be the highest paid player on the team and the club is confident that they can improve with the Italian.
