LAFC were interested in acquiring Jonathan “Cabecita” Rodríguez out from Cruz Azul after rumors of his departure from La Máquina. They already made an offer for the Uruguayan forward but couldn’t match the one that Cruz Azul received from Saudi Arabia and now, “Cabecita” is set to leave America.

Cherundolo already is working on a plan B, as he’s interested in USMNT footballer Julian Green, who currently plays in Bundesliga for Greuther Fürth. The 26-year-old can play as a midfielder or offensive midfielder and so far, he’s played 11 games on the current season.
