Juan Sanchez Miño won't arrive to Sporting Kansas City: reasons revealed

After several weeks, finally Juan Sánchez Miño’s situation is defined. The Argentinean won’t arrive to the MLS. He was linked to Sporting Kansas City which made an offer to buy him, but Independiente de Avellaneda decided to dismiss it for different situations.

Particulary, Independiente showed unsatisfied with the amount offered to them. The defender had firstly reached an agreement with the Independiente leadership to terminate his contract in exchange for resigning a debt of $200,000 that the club had with him, in addition to paying compensation of about $300,000. But, then the contract he was offered in MLS was similar to what he has today in Argentina.

In that way it would be risky for Sanchez Miño to make that move and spending that money. And the negotiation seemed to reach its end when a new team appeared with a new offer: Club Olimpia from Paraguay showed their intentions of acquiring him.
