Johnny Cardoso: a young star that could represent US National Team
Inter de Porto Alegre player has the choice between representing Brazil or the United States, due to his parents nationalities.

Johnny Cardoso was born in New Jersey but because of his Brazilian mother, returned to that country at an early age, to begin his dream of being a professional footballer. Later, he would achieved this when he made his debut with Inter de Porto Alegre, one of the most important teams in Brazil.
At just 18 years old he had a few minutes in the current season and made his debut at Copa Libertadores. The midfielder has not yet decided his future in the National Team, as he can represent the Brazilian and US squad.
"I think now is not the time to make that decision (about choosing the National Team). My focus is International, but of course we work with the dream of one day playing for the national team ”, Cardoso said.
