The 25th edition of the MLS is getting to the end of the regular season, with just seven games to play for the majority of the teams. After that, the playoffs will start and define the two teams that will fight to be the champions of their conferences and qualify to the MLS Cup, on the decision day set for November 8.

Until now, we can start having a clue of which are going to be the 18 teams to qualify to the final rounds. We first need to say that the top eight teams from the western conference will go ahead while in the eastern conference top six teams will do so and those from 7th to 10th will play between them.

To start with the western conference, if everything ended today the clashes would be: Seattle Sounders vs. Colorado Rapids, Portland Timbers vs. San Jose Earthquakes, Sporting Kansas City vs. FC Dallas and Minnesota United FC vs. Los Angeles FC.

In the other side we would first have the play-in games between: New York Red Bulls vs. Nashville SC and Montreal Impact vs. Atlanta United. Afterwards the games for now are Toronto FC vs. lower play-in winner, Philadelphia Union vs. higher play-in winner, Columbus Crew SC vs. New England Revolution and Orlando City SC vs. New York City FC.
