Luis Suárez will become a free agent after the current season ends, and although he has the option to renew on a 1-year deal with Atlético Madrid, he is set to leave La Liga and Europe to arrive to the MLS, where he already has an offer to join a club.

After a disappointing season where Inter Miami CF didn’t make it to the playoffs, David Beckham’s team is going through a rebuilding process that already had Rodolfo Pizarro leaving the club to join Liga MX’s Monterrey.

Inter Miami is looking to add the Uruguayan striker to its team during the summer and would be willing to pay the 34-year-old around $10 million per year, according to reports made last transfer window, when the MLS club first bid arrived, way more than the $6.8 million per year he currently earns in Atlético Madrid.

Miami is not the only club interested in acquiring his services after his current contract ends, as Ajax has shown interest in El Pistolero, and he was rumored to be part of a trade involving Morata’s transfer to Barcelona, but nothing happened. South American clubs are also interested in him, but he’s been clear about not wanting to play in a CONMEBOL league.
