After much controversy, the MLS would have reached an agreement to decide whether or not to allow the players to go with their national teams.

Much was the controversy that was generated around whether or not MLS players could represent their teams in the upcoming FIFA date. The matter seems to have come to an end as MLS would have reached an agreement with FIFA. The coaches of various teams would be very happy and grateful to the management of the league.

MLS, which will soon enter playoff times and its teams are fighting to get their place, promised FIFA that if they were allowed to stay with their players despite being called up by their team on these dates, they would necessarily give them up to play the qualifying rounds of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

MLS believes that today its internal league is more important than an international friendly match and that it will not put the health of its players at risk. Using the Covid problem and its protocols, the MLS justified its decision of not sending its players out of the country. FIFA would have accepted the decision as they believe that internal competition is very important nowadays in the world football.

Many coaches had spoken out against giving up their players and would be very happy with this decision. For example, Barros Schelotto would have lost Pavon and Dos Santos, two very important players on their way to the playoffs. It only remains to wait for the reaction of the players as these friendly matches were very important to be part of their national teams.
