After the suspension of the game against Sporting Kansas City due to a positive Covid case in a Colorado Rapids player, the news was released that four more players and ten staff members suffered from the disease. For this reason the club decided to decree quarantine for all its members and players.

Although it is not known with certainty how they contracted the virus, it is believed that one of the staff members was positive and did not know it. Thus began the sequence of infections that continues for the moment. From the club they announced that they have the situation under control but since they cannot train or play games, they do not know when they will return to the competition for the MLS coach.

Several teams had already confirmed cases of players with Covid but not in this amount. The situation that Colorado Rapids is experiencing is worrying because if it continues with infections or not being able to play the games, the MLS will have to make a decision about it. According to the latest report, the rest of the players and coaches tested negative, so they could return to training on Friday.

Let's remember that in the previous tournament that was played in Orlando, there were teams that were eliminated for having covid cases and not being able to play the games. Everyone is at risk of infection, but clearly something was wrong within the Colorado Rapids organization.
