Mateo Bajamich has been the name that Houston Dynamo has fought for in the last weeks. The Argentinean soccer player had everything arranged to arrive the MLS franchise but a new team appeared and offered him a price for his soccer rights. However, according to The Northern Echo, Sunderland AFC has admited its defeat in seeking the striker after a purchase stratagy the US team used.

After acknowlidging the intention to acquire Bajamich, Dynamo rapidly was forced to get a better transfer fee option as the English club was a more tempting destiny. In this way, The Orange increased the number to $1.3M, but also will allow Instituto de Córdoba, the Argentinean's actual home team, to retain a 20 per cent stake in the player.

“The transfer of Mateo Bajamich to Houston Dynamo is advanced,” said Instituto vice-president Mariano Carbonari. “The club’s lawyers are working to not leave any edge that could harm the Institute or Mateo in the future.” It seems that the brand-new arrival is only hours away to be confirmed to arrive the MLS.
