The Houston Dynamo and New England Revolution are looking to strengthen their teams in the transfer market, as do several clubs in MLS. Before looking outside MLS, the teams have decided to negotiate with each other to gain benefits on both sides; for this reason, they made several trades.

One of their exchanges was between players, with Wilfried Zahibo going from the New York Revolution to the Houston Dynamo in trade for Tommy McNamara, doing the opposite. Within this negotiation, the International roster spot exchange for Houston Dynamo is also added in exchange for 150 thousand dollars in 2020 and 25 thousand dollars in 2021 for New England Revolution.

Although many believed that Kekutah Manneh would be the only New England Revolution signing, this negotiation indicates otherwise. On the other hand, the Houston Dynamo seems to have just started its negotiations in the transfer market so that this negotiation will be the first of many during the transfer market in MLS.
