The decision to leave Atlético de Madrid and go to play in the MLS was surprising. This was admitted by Hector Herrera.

“I think people are really surprised by the decision I have made. If I had stayed at Atletico de Madrid you would have been surprised too because I didn't play as much as I wanted”.
