Guillermo Ochoa is in the final part of his contract with América, it ends in December and it is not known what his future will be. These months will be key to knowing if he will continue playing in Mexico ori f exist the possibility to go to another country.

Ochoa is in the best position to continue playing in America but has not reached an agreement with the team's directors. The goalkeeper wants a new two-year contract, although this has not been fulfilled by the club.

As reported by the Récord newspaper, the Mexican goalkeeper could leave America in December,  and the MLS is the option for the player, several Mexicans play in this League and that motivates him to live in the United States.

"Obviously I am at a stage in which I am also open to seeing what happens in the United States or outside of America,” said Guillermo Ochoa.

Now the official MLS site mentioned that Mexican goalkeeper David Ochoa has an offer from America to come to the club in 2023 and take the place left by Guillermo Ochoa. In the coming months this will be defined but the interest is quite real.
