According to a report by AS USA, Carlos Vela decided to renew his contract with the California team for one more year. Unfortunately for the Mexican, it will only be for one more year, as he intended to stay for three more seasons.

In his previous contract, according to the MLS players' union report, the Mexican player received, as previously mentioned, 6.3 million dollars, but now that the contract has been renewed, Vela's income will change.

What will Carlos Vela's new salary be?

According to a report by journalist Gerardo Vásquez de León, LAFC offered him a contract of 4 million dollars a year, that is, 2.3 million dollars less than what he received in his previous contract.
