Diego Rossi had a consecrating year at LAFC. The Uruguayan attacker aged 22 finished as the Golden Boot winner and was named the best young player of the MLS. With these two, he reached the five awards received during the past campaign and the compliments said to him prove he is a top player.

Rossi has scored 17 goals in the season adding the 23 matches he played between MLS, MLS is Back Tournament and CONCACAF Champions League. His performance was key to LAFC, and he was the great talent that his team counted on when the Mexican star Carlos Vela was injured.

The Uruguayan is ready to continue helping LAFC soon, as his team will face Seattle Sounders on the MLS Cup Playoffs and Cruz Azul on the Concachampions. But in the long-term Rossi may be leaving the MLS, as his great level put him on the radar of some top European teams.

Rossi has seen his value increased a lot during the last months. The attacker arrived to the MLS for just $3 million from Peñarol and now his reported value is of $20 million, according to specialized website Transfermarkt. Fiorentina is the main club chasing him, that could pay a fortune to sign him.
