The Jacob Blake's assasination by a policeman shocked everyone in the United States of America. And soccer did not left out. MLS players decided to postpone their yesterday matches in order to accompany the Black Lives Matter fight to end racial violence. However, Dell Loy Hansen, Real Salt Lake's owner provoked controversy expressing himself against the measure and criticizing the player's decision. MLS directives noticed this, but only published an empty statement about it.

According to The Athletic, Dell Loy Hansen has a large list of racist events where he is mainly involved. A joke about "lynichin" a guy, describing Aaron Maund as a "thug" are some of the different stories in which the RSL's owner showed his discriminative personality. And once again, with total frankness, stated controversial comments against what the MLS players decided yesterday.

But, it does not end there. The MLS directives did not show much comprehension of what people are protesting. In spite of punishing Hansen with suspension or a similar sanction, they just published a statement where they explain that they have "zero toleration" in this type of behaviors. Every person along the US soccer was looking for an example. An action that add to the American society fight. And this was far from being enough.
