DC United's restructuring plan for next season

This season will be forgotten for DC United. Instead of thinking about the duel against Philadelphia Union, he is already beginning to rearm the team for the 2021 season. He has two coaches in mind to take over the team and he has already contacted Mezut Ozil to be the star of the new DC United from the future.

DC United ended the relationship with Coach Ben Olsen and is already thinking about his successor. Former USWNT coach Jill Ellis is one of the top candidates for the coaching job. The two-time USWNT world champion would be ahead of current LA Galaxy assistant Domini Kinnear.

DC United used to be one of the great teams in MLS but is currently undervalued due to its poor results. The owners of DC United want to be important again so they would have already contacted Ozil to be the Designated player for next season. DC United knew how to have Wayne Rooney and the public responded very well to his presence.

This season is already over for DC United and it is a great success to be thinking about next season at this point. They are looking to somehow revolutionize MLS because if Ozil arrives she will be one of the new stars and if Jill Ellis is the coach she will be the first female coach in MLS history.
