DC United is going through a problem in their soccer system. With transfer window still open until the end of October, a decision has to be made. They have an extra option of including a Distinguished Player. Derrick Williams was one of the options at the beginning of the year and now Gonzalo Higuain has joined the fight.

Teams are lining up personnel moves lately. And United made strong footsteps in this way. They signed Gelmin Rivas, an hierarchic Venezuelan striker who made his last experience at Turkey. However, it seems not to be enough. Derrick Williams would be one of the options they want after market's closure. The Irish is playing at Blackburn Rovers in England's second division.

On the other hand, Gonzalo Higuain appears as the more resonant soccer player to reinforce the team. Expelled from Juventus FC, the Argentinean would join his brother Federico. But, his salary would be a problem for DC United. As the 33-year-old striker made about $8.8M this season and wants another big contract wherever he go.
