Now, DCU will have to find a new player to fill the spot left by Paul Arriola, who was announced as the newest FC Dallas acquisition, but at least they have solved the problem on defense, after Paredes departure, although Smith isn’t as young as Wolfsburg new defender.

The 27-year-old Australian left-back will join DCU on a trade for General Allocation Money, although it’s yet to be seen how much money will be involved in the trade, as Seattle Sounders is in need for GAM in order to overcome salary cap pressure.
