Juventus is about to complete the signing of Brazilian youngster Kaio Jorge from Santos in a deal worth an initial €3m and up to €1m in bonuses. Kaio will move to the Allianz Stadium after a successful spell with Santos where he scored 17 goals in 84 senior appearances. 

The 19-year-old striker with team up with one of the best players in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo. With Ronaldo known to carry most of the goalscoring burden in any team, why then is Juventus signing a striker?
