As its known, Columbus Department of Health, Crew President and General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko will allow 1.500 fans to watch their game on sunday. Regarding to this, Cincinnati fans are asking for explanations as they are willing to attend Nippert Stadium as well. But there is a main reason which explain this situation.

The point, according many sources who confirmed this, is that one stadium is owned and operated by the team (Columbus Crew) while the other is rented in the middle of a college campus. Mike DeWine, governor of Ohio, had issued an order that allowed school athletics program to seat 1,500 fans or 15 percent of an outdoor venue's total capacity.

While sources close to the situation say FC Cincinnati is working with stakeholders to bring back fans during Phase Two of Major League Soccer's return to in-market play, no fans have been allowed back at the University of Cincinnati's Nippert Stadium to date.
