The Rebaño Sagrado coach, who took his main squad to California and added several young players from both the Tapatío affiliate and the U20 category of his Fuerzas Básicas, decided to keep a lineup with elements that enjoy the full confidence of his coaching staff, to challenge the Galacticos tonight in a vibrant international friendly match.

Ricardo Cadena decided to give minutes to players not usually in his lineup for the Apertura 2022 Liga MX Tournament and opted for the goal: Raúl Rangel, accompanied by a defense made up of: Jesús Sánchez on the right, while Antonio Briseño, Hiram Mier and Omar Mireles will share the center back line. Miguel Ángel Ponce will play on the left flank. Eduardo Torres will be in contention, while Gilberto García and Isaac Brizuela will play out wide. The attacking pairing will be formed by Santiago Ormeño and José de Jesús Tepa González.

Rest for many starters

The coach of Los Tapatíos, who called up 26 players for this inter-league event in the United States, left on the substitutes' bench players such as Miguel Jiménez, Alan Mozo, Gilberto Sepúlveda, Luis Olivas, Cristian Calderón, Carlos Cisneros and Ángel Zaldívar, who are regulars in their first team call-ups in Liga MX.
