Chicharito Hernandez is not going through his best moment. In fact, it's just the opposite. The former Real Madrid and Manchester United player was not called by Gerardo Martino to join the Mexican national team. In addition, he only scored one goal in eight games with Los Angeles Galaxy in the Major League Soccer.

In January 2020, the team coached by Guillermo Barros Schelotto paid 12 million euros for the 32-year-old forward. Since then, Hernandez has scored only one goal in eight appearances in the Galaxy shirt. It was during a 2-1 defeat to the Portland Timbers back in July.

However, Schelotto still trusts Hernandez. This Tuesday, the coach assured that Chicharito is a fantastic footballer and confirmed that the striker will play against San Jose Earthqaukes this Wednesday. If LA Galaxy wants to come out from the bottom of the table, it is obliged to win the next games.

On the other hand, Chicharito is out of the Mexican national team. Coach Gerardo Martino did not call him to play against the Netherlands and Algeria. The Argentinian manager explained in press conference that Raúl Jiménez (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Alan Pulido (Sporting Kansas City) and Henry Martin (Club America) are the players that right now deserve a place in the team's offensive.
