New MLS Expansion Club unveiled his new uniform for next season. Charlotte FC the new MLS franchise for the 2022 campaign is getting ready for what will be their debut season. Leicester former player Christian Fuchs and the new star face of the club attended the unveiling of the uniform. 

The inaugural Charlotte FC 2022 MLS home kit was just launched by the club, making them the first in the league to unveil their new uniform. The new franchise will also unveil a new away kit ahead of the start of the league in late February.

About Charlotte´s jersey

The Adidas Charlotte 2022 home jersey introduces a clean design in blue, black, and white.

Dubbed the "Carolina" kit, the new Charlotte FC home shirt will be worn throughout the 2022 and 2023 MLS seasons. It has an overlapping white v-collar, matching the sleeves and the ally sponsor logo.

The Adidas logo and 3 Stripes on the Adidas Charlotte FC 2022 football shirt are black, just like the trim on the sleeve cuffs, which also have blue and white.

“As our fans look forward to the debut of Charlotte FC in 2022, the new primary kit represents the bold and progressive philosophy of the club and embodies the pride and passion of our community,” said Charlotte FC president Nick Kelly in a team release. “This kit symbolizes our mission to unite fans across the Carolinas as we make history in MLS and in soccer in the United States.”

Charlotte FC's 2022 home kit was launched on December 10, 2021. It's available online, retailing at USD 140 for the authentic version and USD 90 for the replica.

Charlotte FC MLS home opener against LA Galaxy

A date is set for Charlotte FC’s long-awaited home debut. The city’s Major League Soccer team will host the Los Angeles Galaxy at Bank of America Stadium at 8 p.m. on March 5. 

Charlotte FC president Nick Kelly said that he’s expecting a sold-out crowd of more than 74,000 fans. 

“Hopefully having someone like the LA Galaxy with stars like Chicharito and other big-name players, we can deliver on that sooner rather than later,” Kelly told Charlotte media. 

Bank of America Stadium seats close to 75,000 people and is home to the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. The venue is undergoing renovations to make it more suitable for soccer ahead of the club’s first season, which comes two years after the announcement that an MLS expansion franchise was coming to Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE’S MLS SCHEDULE

The MLS regular season will take place Feb. 26 through Oct. 9. Playoffs will run through the following month, culminating with the MLS Cup on Nov. 5. The FIFA World Cup in Qatar begins at the end of that month.

As is standard across the league, Charlotte FC will play 17 regular-season home matches and 17 away matches. The club will be part of the Eastern Conference and will play teams in that pool twice while facing eight of 14 Western Conference teams, the Galaxy being one. A full match schedule has not been announced.
