Carlos Vela renewed for one more season with Los Angeles Football Club and in this announcement he took time to talk about his future with the Mexican Soccer Team.

Carlos Vela has not played with the Mexican National Team since the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The LAFC striker resigned from “El Tri” for personal reasons.

In this press conference he announced his future with the Mexican National Team, which is preparing to play the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

"It's up to young people to go to the World Cup and from here it's to support them, hopefully we can get to that fifth, sixth, seventh game and that they are the ones that Tata decides they have to be in," said Carlos Vela.

The LAFC star is happy with his performance in MLS and now he hopes to win his first championship in United States soccer.
