Chivas is not going through its very best moment and the name of Carlos Vela always appears in the radar of the team every time things are not going good. The Mexican attacker aged 31 is actually at LAFC, where he is coming back from an injury and getting ready for the MLS Playoffs.
If Vela finally decides to go back to Chivas, it will for sure be an all-time record transfer. Surprisingly his actual value according to specialized website Transfermarkt is €15 million. Even though LAFC only paid €5 million for him, on January 2018 to Real Sociedad, his level has raised his quotation.
The highest transfer ever made from a player to Liga MX was Rodolfo Pizarro, paid $16.9 million to move from Pachuca to Chivas. The second transfer also includes Pizarro, in his move to Rayados for $16.6 million. The second player in the top transfers is Maximiliano Meza, who left Independiente to Rayados for $16.1 million.
Even though it is hard to think, a transfer from Vela to Chivas would be higher than those numbers. But, the Mexican forward is very comfortable at Los Angeles, where he lives with his family. Recently his baby was born and it will be hard to think that he will move at this moment of his life.
