Joe Biden has transformed into the new President of the United States, at his 78 years old, after defeating Donald Trump in the presidential election that took place a couple of weeks ago. Biden is a member of the Democratic Party and was the vice president during the Obama administration.

November was the month in which he gained the elections and, surprisingly, it was a fact linked to the MLS that left everyone with their mouths opened. Biden won on Saturday 7 the elections, while on Sunday 8 he also celebrated, as his team in the MLS obtained a very important victory.

As it was reported, Biden supports Philadelphia Union, a franchise that just one day after the elections won the Supporters Shield MLS, their first title in their history. It was an incredible weekend for him, who celebrated on Saturday and Sunday, due to his personal victory and the one of the team he supports afterwards.

Philadelphia Union finished first on the Eastern Conference during the MLS regular season and then was eliminated from the MLS Cup Playoffs during the first round. New England Revolution defeated them 2-0 leaving no chances of advancing. But, afterwards, they ended as champions of the Supporters Shield, so they celebrated anyway.
