Before 2020, the Portland Timbers had never scored sic goals on a same game. This season, the have done it twice. It may seem like an unreliable fact but it shows how flexible and harmful the Timbers's offense can be. Jeremy Ebobisse's explosive momentum is balanced by Yimmi Chará's assists, Diego Valeri's experience and Felipe Mora's enthusiasm. Coach Giovanni Savarese is happy but hopes to create more chemistry between his Fantastic Four.

Savarese said after the 6-3 triumph against the Los Angeles Galaxy that the team failed in taking full advantage of the space conceded by their rival. Everytime they did it, they scored. But the coach feels the connection between his forwards and wingers needs to be administrated better.

It cannot be ignore that the Galaxy is in many senses the worst team in the whole MLS, so it may not be the perfect test for Ebobisse and his wingmen. Nontheless, the brighful American forward seems to be taking full benefit from Yimmi Chará's arrival and Diego Valeri's experience and vision.

The Timbers, reigning champions of the MLS is Back Tournament, looks like the team to be beaten in the current tournament, although their historic rivals, the Seattle Sounders, are displaying an excellent level. Everything seems to point out that the Western Conference will resume in a classic Cascadian Derby. If that happens, the actual level of the Fantastic Four attacking group of the Oregon natives won't be enough. As Savarese said, thy still need to improve.
