Los Angeles Galaxy and Guillermo Barros Schelotto have been linked with several Argentine players or players in the Argentine Super League. Among them, we can see Sebastián Villa, Gonzalo Higuaín, Javier Pastore and Ignacio Martín Fernández are some of the players linked to the MLS team. This group is joined by another Argentine player at Club Atlético Boca Juniors.
Iván Marcone is a player who has stood out during the last year at Club Atlético Boca Juniors. For this reason, and because of Guillermo Barros Schelotto's close relationship with the player, the Los Angeles Galaxy follows in his footsteps. Unfortunately, there are several factors against the transfer agreement.
The Los Angeles Galaxy does not have enough funds to bear the cost of Iván Marcone, almost 5.5 million. The MLS club would seek a loan from the Argentine team. However, Club Atlético Boca Juniors is unwilling to let the player out if it is not paying his transfer cost.
Guillermo Barros Schelotto intends to hire several players that he knows closely and improve his team's performance. Unfortunately, the will of Club Atlético Boca Juniors, the cost of the player, and the limited financial funds of the Los Angeles Galaxy complicate this operation.
