The MLS has transformed itself incredibly during the lasts years. From being a league who started signing top players who had already triumphed at Europe, it started to sell young talented players to some world top teams, including those who usually compete for the Champions League.

After several years of changes, we can now take a look and see who are the best transfers made in MLS history. To start we need to look at Alphonso Davies, the young defender formed in Vancouver Whithecaps who left for more than $10 million tho Bayern Munich and already won big titles with the German club.

There are some other players that we include in the best MLS transfers that are not America. Paraguayan Miguel Almirón, who played for Atlanta United, was sold to Newcastle for more than $25 million in the highest transfer ever made from the MLS. Davies is the second one in the list.

Jozy Altidore, sold for $8 million to Villarreal, Zack Steffen, for $7 million to Manchester City, and Matt Miazga, for $5 million to Chelsea, are those who complete the list of the top sales made by the MLS. Still, there are a lot of young talented homegrown players that may be joining this list soon.
