The New England Revolution is set to represent the United States in the CONCACAF Champions League after earning the Supporters' Shield in 2021, setting the all-time mark of 73 points earned in the 2021 regular season.
New England will open the regular season by visiting the Portland Timbers on Saturday, Feb. 26 (7:30 p.m. ET), at Providence Park.
The Revs had a brilliant 2021 campaign after scoring 73 points in the campaign to leave their closest challengers, the Philadelphia Union, far behind.
The Union reached 54 points in the regular season, 19 points behind the Revs, so the team led by Bruce Arena was the one that earned the right to play in the Round of 16 of the Champions League.
