During the past week, FC Dallas has had movement in its team. Their goalkeeper, Jesse Gonzalez, was dismissed from the club because of domestic violence, prompting them to seek a replacement. Phelipe Melgiolaro, Gremio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense goalkeeper, is the one who is in negotiations with the club.

If they confirm the signing of Phelipe Melgiolaro, the goalkeeper position would be covered. This is how his second position to reinforce is the midfield. FC Dallas is looking for a player of experience and hierarchy. According to reports, his target is in Colombia.

The midfielder is Andrés Ricaurte, a Deportivo Independiente de Medellín player. The player has offers from Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico. However, the player has a contract with his club until 2021. Despite this, the DIM of Colombia is willing to sell him for about 2 million dollars.

The talks between Andrés Ricaurte and FC Dallas are advanced because the player is tempted by the offer of the Texas club. Deportivo Independiente de Medellín and FC Dallas are expected to reach an agreement in the following weeks.
