Guillermo Ochoa already made his debut with the Mexican national team in the World Cup 2'22 and now he is already considering a renewal with Club America. The Mexican goalkeeper left for the World Cup without his deal with the Coapa team secured and now he could get one of the worst news of all.

According to journalist Juan Carlos Zuniga, Club America has Club Santos goalkeeper Carlos Acevedo on its agenda. In that sense, the Liga MX team has not finished securing Guillermo Ochoa's future and for this reason would not rule out the signing of a replacement if everything does not go well.

Ochoa is already aware that he will probably not be able to reach an agreement with the Mexican team for 2023 and that is why he should look for a club in that year. It is worth remembering that Ochoa confessed prior to the start of the World Cup that he would like to be present in the 2026 process.

How much would it cost Club America to sign Acevedo?

The signing of Carlos Acevedo is certainly complicated but not impossible for the Coapa team. The team will have to put a total of 7 million on the table and part of it would be expected to be obtained with a salary release if Ochoa does not end up renewing his contract.
