Alexis Vega's future seems to be definitively decided. The player has already defined that he will not listen to any more offers from Europe and prefers to stay in Guadalajara for the time being. The attacker surprised with his statements to TUDN where he states that he prefers to stay in Chivas for several reasons.

For the Mexican player, the economic issue will always be paramount. There is little talent that prefers to go to fight for a position, without being a starter and earning less than in Mexico, but in one of the most competitive leagues in the world. In this sense, Alexis Vega told TUDN that in Europe they want the player to leave everything, arrive for 6 months and give no guarantee.

The economic issue has certainly taken its toll on the Mexican player. Alexis Vega is one of the highest paid players in Liga MX and in teams like Chelsea FC, the player would not have a salary similar to the one he receives. The reality is that Vega's market value is still not enough to be one of the highest paid in Europe.

How much does Vega earn at Chivas?

According to Salary Sports, Alexis Vega earns a total of $2 million with certain bonuses at Chivas, while in Europe he was offered close to $1 million per year. One of the reasons Vega seems to be backing out for good and not wanting to listen to any more offers at the moment.
