The reasons why Chicharito Hernández will return to the Mexican National Team

Javier Hernández is the top scorer in the history of the Mexican National Team, Chicharito has not played for the team after years. Coach Gerardo Martino decided not to take him to the Qatar 2022 World Cup and preferred other soccer players.

Chicharito has not played with the Mexican National Team since 2019. The striker committed an act of indiscipline that affected a person when he was fired. Coach Gerardo Martino got upset with the Mexican player and suspended him from the team indefinitely.

Javier Hernández looked for Gerardo Martino to talk and ask for his return to the National Team. The Argentinian coach acknowledged that he spoke with Chicharito but explained his reasons for not taking him to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

With information from W Deportes and the Mexican press, Héctor Moreno and other soccer players expect Javier Hernández to return to the National Team. Coach Diego Cocca acknowledged at a press conference that he spoke with Chicharito.

“All Mexicans are eligible. They all have open doors. Today there are 34, I don't know what happens next. I spoke with all the summoned and some more like Javier Hernández”, said Diego Cocca. Chicharito is injured but the Argentinian coach can summon him for the upcoming matches of the Mexican National Team.
