The harsh message that Andrés Guardado gave Diego Lainez for playing in Tigres

Diego Lainez went to play in Europe at the age of 18, several teams were interested in the Mexican promise, Ajax was the most interested but finally the striker decided to play for Real Betis, a club where he did not have many opportunities to play.

Guardado played several years with Diego Lainez at Betis, the experienced player criticized his teammate for returning to Mexican soccer with the Tigres. Andrés made strong statements in an interview for Marca.

“That he could have done a little more to stay here or do something different, possibly also, that already remains with him. But hey, I also think that, especially here at Betis, he had a very good stage and then he didn't have too many opportunities, that this also depends not only on him, but on the coach", Andrés Guardado said.

Guardado hopes that Diego Lainez can have a good performance in the MX League and that his talent can improve with the Tigres, the striker will have a new opportunity with the Mexican National Team.

"Today I wish him all the success in the world, he is a great player, we need him in Mexico, we need him to really explode and show how good he is, because he is a talent that the Mexican National Team could use very well," said Andrés Guardado.
