Many times, in Mexican soccer, talent is not enough to make it to the top teams in the country. Sometimes, there are "extra" ways to convince coaches or managers to place the player beyond his sporting abilities.

Even in the Mexican national team there are pressures that lead to call-ups of players who may not deserve it, but who satisfy the interests of others. Even a great star like Hirving Lozano could not be spared.

Who was responsible?

Obviously, to avoid major scandals, Hirving's father decided not to share names, but it is known that Ángel Coca González was one of those in charge of the Tuzos' basic forces sector at the time.
