Carlos Vela was crowned champion with LAFC in the last Major League Soccer season. For the Mexican player, it is his first club title as a player. However, it could also mean his last with the Los Angeles team. Vela could end his time in MLS after five years.

Carlos Vela's future is uncertain, however, rumors of a possible move to Liga MX are still a possibility. In an interview with ESPN, Vela assured that he would not mind playing in Mexico again at some point in his career, but it would be with a renowned club.

In that sense, Club America appears on the scene and now even more so with the possible change of ownership. Televisa announced that a company will be created to manage the team from Coapa and therefore strong investments are expected to bring signings such as Carlos Vela to the team from the Mexican capital.

What would Vela ask for to sign?

Carlos Vela would ask for a figure close to the 5 million he currently earns at LAFC. The player could benefit from the possible departure of Guillermo Ochoa, and transfer the salary invested in the goalkeeper to the Mexican striker. In addition, the player would be the best paid of the entire squad, a luxury that few can have.
