Martino wanted “Chicharito” to change something before returning to El Tri

If Mexico National Team were facing problems finding a striker that could complement Raúl Jiménez when he’s not available -something that happened on the past FIFA match window when he was injured-, their problems will be bigger now.

After Rogelio Funes Mori was involved in a discussion with a customs agent when CF Monterrey returned from the FIFA Club World Cup, when he called Mexico “the worst country in the world”, he’ll stop wearing the colors of a National Team he doesn’t feel.

Who could replace him Martino’s squad?

It’s true to say that Funes Mori is not having the best moment of his career, as he hasn’t scored with El Tri in a while and just missed a penalty kick in Monterrey latest game in Liga MX. In his place could arrive in Santiago Giménez, who is on the mix for the being the third striker of El Tri.
