The question makes sense because, with so many players who have contributed to the club and have been idols of the fans, only one can have the honor of being called the "Best Player of Club America".

This is the best player in Club America

The player who has been recognized by all as the best player of Club America has a first and last name and is Cuauhtémoc Blanco, born in 1973 in Barrio Bravo de Tepito, one of the most popular areas of Mexico City.

"Cuau" has been named on different occasions as the best player of a club with 105 years of soccer history and with many players who have been heroes on different occasions.

Among them, Carlos Reinoso, Enrique Borja, Luis Roberto Alves "Zague" or Alfredo Tena, is part of a long list of players who have been considered the best players of Club América.

But, with so many years of history and so many players who have worn the Azulcrema uniform, why do most people agree that Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo is Club América's best player?

Cuauhtémoc Blanco: his greatness in numbers

Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo is Club América's second all-time leading scorer (152), behind only Luis Roberto Alves (192) and third in the Mexican National Soccer Team (38), behind Javier Hernández (39) and Jared Borgetti (46).

Among his achievements are a League title and a Champion of Champions with the Águilas, as well as 2 CONCACAF Champions Cups with the Azulcremas, with whom he also won the "Individual Goal Scoring Championship" with 16 goals in the same number of games in which he participated during the 1998 Winter.

In the 2000 Libertadores Cup, he had one of his most outstanding performances at the international level, scoring 9 goals in 12 games, including two historic hat-tricks, one against Olimpia of Honduras and the other against América de Cali of Colombia.

In addition, Blanco led the American offense as the best scorer in 4 consecutive tournaments and began to become a reference point for the team in situations on and off the field.

Unlike other players, Blanco had a magical connection with the Azulcremas fans who considered him the team's idol and one of the most important references for the team.
