A new player has grown tired of Santiago Solari and wants to leave Las Águilas

It’s clear that things are not working out for Las Águilas, whether it’s the lack of support given by Santiago Baños, who couldn’t sign most of the players that Santiago Solari requested, or the system implemented by the Argentinian coach, who has yet to earn his first victory in 2022.

Solari hasn’t found the best starting XI given the injuries and the lack of regularity that some players have displayed, like Mauro Lainez, who since arriving in América a year ago has yet to show if he is worth of wearing Las Águilas colors.

The older of the Lainez brothers joined Club América for Clausura 2021 out of Tijuana Xolos on a 1-year loan with obligation to buy him after the loan ended. So far, the 25-year-old left-winger has played 42 games with Las Águilas, in which he has only managed to score 2 goals and assist 4 times.
