Rumors suggest that Juan Reynoso already presented his resignation letter.

After a series of movements inside Cruz Azul, where Álvaro Dávila left the institution and Jaime Ordiales returned to La Máquina to assume the position left by Dávila, becoming the Sporting Director for a second stint, rumors about Juan Reynoso resigning started to arise.

Álvaro Dávila will be replaced by Jaime Ordiales in Cruz Azul

Since Juan Reynoso arrived in Cruz Azul, his relationship with Ordiales was never good, but now that he’s back, Reynoso, even with the players he wanted to acquire and after becoming Liga MX champion has decided to step away.

That opens the doors to Chivas, who don’t really seem to have a project under Marcelo Michel Leaño’s direction, and have lost the tag of contenders for Liga MX, as they haven’t won a thing since 2017, when Matías Almeyda was coaching El Rebaño.

How much will Chivas have to pay to Juan Reynoso?

If rumors of his resigning are true, Chivas won’t have to pay Cruz Azul, which will make Juan Reynoso arrive for free in Verde Valle, but according to reports, Amaury Vergara will have to pay him $1 million per year to convince him to sign with them.
