The sporting director of Chivas Guadalajara, Ricardo Peláez, gave an exclusive interview on Tuesday in which he utterly disappointed coach Ricardo Cadena, who minutes earlier had been hopeful about the possibility of expecting another reinforcement in this transfer market for the 2022 Apertura MX Tournament, after confirming his setback in the negotiation to repatriate Orbelín Pineda.

The secret reinforcement that Chivas has in training in its ranks

Cadena, during a videoconference on Tuesday in Verde Valle, acknowledged that "we are waiting for someone else to join, before all this we had raised the possibility of three reinforcements for the squad, Alan Mozo and Fernando González arrived and we are still waiting for someone else".

A few minutes later, also in Verde Valle, Peláez gave an exclusive interview with Marca Claro. After alluding to Cadena's words, he had to disagree with the red and white coach on the subject of reinforcements after confirming that after the setback in the negotiation for Orbelín Pineda, they will close the squad.

Pineda, Chivas' last option

Peláez was asked if anyone else would arrive beside the former Chivas midfielder and revealed that "no”. “Orbelín is a key position, a mixed midfielder: outside midfielder, attacking midfielder or even as a second striker, according to coach Ricardo Cadena, who has already expressed it that way. So, that would be the last option".
