Today, when Club Deportivo Guadalajara is playing for the Liguilla, Sergio Flores is a starter and that's not all, since the player has already confessed the truth about Leaño's departure from Chivas. Who was to blame?

The Mexican midfielder spoke clearly and loudly about what happened inside the club and practically pointed out the responsibility for the departure of Marcelo Michel Leaño from the club.

Sergio Flores confesses the truth about Leaño's departure from Chivas

Interviewed by TUDN, Flores explained that the departure of Marcelo Michel Leaño from Chivas was something that gave them a very bad feeling within the team since with so many changes of coach, the players were uneasy.

"Not in debt, but we do feel a little uneasy knowing that they change coaches a lot and the results don't come," were the player's words during the interview in which he affirmed how complicated this issue is for the team.

And no wonder, since Sergio Flores has seen not 2, but 3 coaches at the Rebaño Sagrado, since during his time with the team, Víctor Manuel Vucetich, Marcelo Michel Leaño and now Ricardo Cadena have been his coaches.

This has always been one of the most criticized aspects of Club Deportivo Guadalajara by its fans since its coaches have not lasted long on the team.

And the criticism makes a lot of sense, since 2009, 11 coaches have been on the Chivas bench, including José Luis "Güero" Real, Fernando Quirarte, Alberto Coyote, John Van't Schip, Juan Carlos Ortega and Ricardo Antonio La Volpe, among others.

And so far the only coach who resisted the attempts at change was Matías Almeyda, who gave the institution 5 titles, including the league title in 2017, and the Concacaf Champions League cup.

But this rhythm in the change of coaches is what Flores confesses has left him uneasy.

Who was to blame for Leaño's departure from Chivas?

By Sergio Flores' own admission, the people to blame for Leaño's departure from Chivas were the players themselves, who, with the poor results that accumulated in the Rounds, led to the coach's dismissal.

"We do have our share of responsibility, of guilt one could say, we are the ones who play, but we are a bit touched by the change of coaches" said Flores.

But despite the complications that the Rebaño Sagrado has gone through, since the arrival of Ricardo Cadena, the club has had a change of root, which has led them to play in the Liguilla.

And this day, the midfielder has set the bar high as he took the field as a starter, to try to reverse what happened in the first leg in which Atlas defeated Chivas 2-1.
