Good news for Chivas, Santiago Ormeño finally makes his debut as a red and white player, this was confirmed by the coach, Ricardo Cadena, when he subbed him in tonight’s friendly match in Las Vegas against Juventus.

After he was unable to do so on Wednesday against Leon at Akron Stadium, Ormeño is playing some minutes of the second half on the field of Allegiant Stadium, home of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders.

The Chivas coach spoke about his new recruit: "Yes, the intention is for him to start accumulating minutes, to join the group, the team in all aspects, on the personal side with the players, but of course I am very interested in the technical and tactical side.

"He is arriving to the institution and has had only one training session, and it was not of a tactical nature, it was prior to León, of course his arrival will allow us to have minutes tomorrow," assured Cadena.

'We have to manage the team'

Cadena explained that he will be looking to put together a competitive eleven that will be in a position to validate such a demanding duel. "We will look for players who can recover and that's why we have a large squad".

The Rebaño arrived on Thursday afternoon in the city of Las Vegas, had practice at the UNLV courts and said they were ready for this friendly match.
