Colombian striker Radamel Falcao García is about to leave Spain to join a Mexican club, with whom he has a verbal agreement. The contract with Rayo Vallecano would be about to expire and the former Manchester United would leave as a free agent, heading to the Mexican league, where he would have a verbal agreement with one of the most important clubs, as revealed by the newspaper Marca, from Spain.
According to the aforementioned source, the Colombian national team would be very interested in the proposal he received last summer from Mexico and although in recent weeks he has been linked to Asian teams, Radamel Falcao García is convinced that his next destination would be at Cruz Azul, a team that sought him out in the winter market, but due to his high release clause from Rayo Vallecano, he had no better option than to wait until summer.
According to the information collected by the newspaper Marca, Radamel Falcao García has in mind to close a contract with Rayo Vallecano and in June migrate to Mexico and accept the offer of Cruz Azul. However, the salary issue would be at stake, since if another club appears with the millions, it could bring down the signing of the Colombian striker for the cement team. Víctor Velázquez, president of the Board of Directors of the Cruz Azul Cooperative, would have been the one who convinced Radamel Falcao García to accept.
The Colombian striker currently earns a salary of $688,000 at Rayo Vallecano, according to a report from the Salary Sports portal. The cement team could afford said salary, since several players on the squad would receive that item. The player who earns the most is Jesús Corona, who receives 1.5 million dollars a year.
